Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Today we’d like to introduce you to Solomon Buckley.
Hi Solomon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story with you today!
My name is Solomon Buckley. I live in Kansas City, Missouri. I was born in Kansas City, Kansas.
But I was raised and reside in Kansas City, Missouri.
I wear many hats in the world – I am a spiritual leader (minister/worship leader/ mentor) and work full time as an early childhood educator
I have been an Early Childhood Educator since 2004 and have worked in the Head Start Movement since 2006. I am the director / spiritual leader of a growing network of relational leaders named Fresh Wind International Missions Base Inc. I graduated in 2017 from Wagner Leadership Institute with a Bachelor of Practical Ministry. In May 2024 I was awarded a Honorary Doctorate in Pastoral Theology from Faith Bible College – Independence, Missouri.
The formation of a organization that Im the Founder and CEO of:Fresh Wind International Missions Base Inc. was basically birthed from me being on staff / assistant pastor of a local Interdenominational Church in 2008. During that time I established a small prayer room known as Transformation Prayer Ground with an expression of worship and prayer combined together. During my leadership of the Transformation Prayer Group it became increasingly aware to me that God was calling me beyond my city.
So with the blessing of my pastor at that time. I began to launch Fresh Wind International Missions Base Inc. and we held our first Ministry Training Conference in 2010. During that gathering we had many different cultural expressions helping led us into worship / training.
Today I still lead Fresh Wind International Missions Base Inc and am still leading this 501 C3 Faith Based Ministry since 2009.
In addition to that I have made some historic marks in society in various ways across the Body of Christ. Apart from my own ministry I sit on the Board of Director / Senior Pastor @ Rock of Salvation Tabernacle . Which is a small relational based Interdenominational christian congregation led by Solomon Buckley.

My personal journey that brings me to where I am today. I grew up in a christian home with two ministry minded parents both preachers, singers and church planters. So you could imagine how my worldview has been shaped by my humble beginnings. My journey going up was our family served together doing ministry locally and regional travel to sing and conduct revival and etc.

I never fully imagined myself walking fully in ministry like I’m doing today. But I’m thankful for me fully accepting the call of Jesus upon my life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, my life hasn’t been easy with losing my biological mother at the age of 12 years. But also, my birth wasn’t easy either, being born premature (1 pound and 4 ounces). But thankfully, the only issues I have from my birth is a major hearing loss. But as far as being able to talk and consult with others, I hear on a grand level. Another area has been building an organization from scratch and having many not fully support in the beginning. But today I can truly say that picture is very different. Im so thankful for my family especially my mother Minister Ella Mae Buckley (deceased) who taught me many things along with my late father Pastor Billy Buckley who passed on November 30,2024. My father and I did ministry together for many years together. My father was an advisor, friend and spiritual leader to many. As I am conducting this interview. I am still grieving over my father and would request for positive prayers and encouragement.
I have ministered to thousands in various churches, conferences and gatherings.
I’m grateful for the impact my life is having on many.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fresh Wind International Missions Base?
At Fresh Wind International Missions Base Inc., we offer spiritual services such as prayer/ prophetic ministry, bible study, ministerial network, coaching. I have a daily room on Clubhouse App where I provide encouragement, prayer and teaching and just a safe space to gather with judgement.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Solomon defines success as never stopping with what God has told you to do. You must have bumps on your journey. But having faith is a strong place to live in, but there isn’t success without strong mentors in your life. Some of my mentors are Dr. Antoine Roston Sr., Prophetess Linda Heidler from Glory of Zion International Ministries Inc., Dr. Fumi Stephanie Hancock, Bishop Judy Warren (Immanuate Temple of God- Sacramento California), Apostle Ronald Hamm (Apostolic Global Network) and many others.
Today thru the many mentors that have impacted my life!!!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have some bumps in the road just with life.
But I would tell anyone keep pushing and dont ever look back.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an Ordained Minister with a specialization in Worship Leader / Team Development/ Outreach / Church Planting Experience / Prayer Ministry / Prophetic Ministry. I am known throughout Kansas City in the Early Childhood Industry as “Mr.Solomon”.
But in the church world I’m known as “ Pastor Solomon or Apostle/ Prophet Buckley”. Many have called me the “gentle giant”.
I’m proud of the fact that I have mentored other in the ministry and in the Early Childhood Movement.
