Hi Anjana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into event planning and decor wasn’t something I initially set out to build, it grew naturally from a deep passion for creating beautiful, meaningful experiences. I have always been drawn to aesthetics, color and the way thoughtful details can transform a space and elevate a moment.

Like many SBO, I started small – taking on events within my community, learning hands on, and refining my design, execution and client experience. With each passing time I realized how much joy and impact well designed events can bring to people’s lives.

That’s how We Manage Better LLC was born, not just an event decor company but as a full service experience partner. I wanted to create an experience that goes beyond just setting up events, instead manages every detail from concept to execution, ensuring clients can truly enjoy their special moments.

Over time, we’ve had the privilege of working across a spectrum of events—from elegant private celebrations to corporate gatherings—each one reinforcing our commitment to excellence, discretion, and detail-driven execution.

Today, We Manage Better represents more than a business—it’s a signature approach to event design where creativity meets precision, and where every experience is crafted to feel effortless, elevated, and unforgettable.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a women-owned small business comes with its own set of challenges. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with limited resources, wearing multiple hats and learning everything in real time—from design and execution to logistics, client management, and operations. There are moments when you have to work twice as hard to be taken seriously—whether it’s in negotiations, managing large-scale setups, or leading teams in high-pressure environments.

One of the biggest challenges in the event industry is that it demands perfection in environments that are constantly changing. No two events are the same, and there’s very little room for error. Last minute changes, that we call surprises, and the pressure to consistently deliver a high end experience is challenging. In our industry the work is physically demanding, detail intensive and time sensitive. This is not a one person job so getting due help in time with experience hires is also sometime very challenging.

Today, I see those experiences as a strength. They’ve shaped not just how I run We Manage Better, but also the standard I hold for myself and my work.

We Manage Better LLC is a full-service event planning and design company focused on creating elevated, thoughtfully curated experiences. We work across a range of events—from intimate celebrations and weddings to corporate gatherings—handling everything from concept development and design to complete execution and on-site management.
