Story & Lesson Highlights with Marielle Randle of Local Kansas City Area

Marielle Randle shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Marielle , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
A bit of both as every season serves. Sometimes wandering can guide you towards deep exploration and clarity. We all wander into and out of alignment through truth and self discovery. How we apply that insight or level of consciousness, I think, is what allows us to emphasize the importance of extending internal and external grace as we journey in purpose individually and collectively.

Specifically, I am currently walking many paths; that of God, Self, motherhood and business owner. Creatively and consistently building with hopes to attract even more joyful experiences that affirm the abundance within and all around me.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello everyone!

My name is Marielle Randle, also known as Mari. I am the Creator of MCR Ventures LLC, where I specialize in servicing communities through several modalities of healing. Creator; “The Remedys” Wholistic body care, Artist; Henna/Jagua and Teacher; Certified 100 HR meditation and divination guidance through astrological and esoteric studies. I started my business in 2016, creating wholistic care and from there the other sectors of my business developed. I was 18 years old and it was not until I was 23 years old when it truly began to reach new heights. That 5 year gap was a very transformative time for me as I was transitioning from newly college graduate to full time motherhood and still attempting to stay dedicated to my art and figure out who I innately was beyond the titles, roles and expectations.

As the great Zora Neal Hurston once said “there are years that ask questions and years that answer.” There were moments of uncertainty and misdirection and moments of clear confirmation that all was taking place in divine timing.

Fast forward to 2025 and Yesss ya girl has been in this game for almost a decade and this humbling experience has been worth every Level Up! To add, it will soon be almost 4 years since I did my first interview with VoyageKC in 2021 — you all should go read that one as well! From there, the growth and evolution has been expansively rewarding.

From my experience, challenges come with change but so does opportunity and from then to now I have been faced with much change yet many opportunities to challenge myself to grow beyond my own beliefs of what it takes to wear all these different caps efficiently and confidently as a young artist still navigating my own inner critique. What makes this experience so special and unique is that I am the alchemist of my business. I have the access and freedom to innovate as I choose because as we all know the ways of healing are infinite and universal. There is comfort and power in knowing that as long as I am learning and growing, my business is striving and thriving. Whenever fear or rejection confront me, I can see it too as an opportunity for divine intervention or redirection.

At this time, I have some things cooking lol.. but mainly educating and connecting with different avenues of creative influence has been my focus. Being open to inspiration everywhere, which will then aid to my creative and developmental process when it comes time to present and share.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks bonds between people is lack of ownership and what restores them is accountability and changed behavior. I’ve learned that if we as individuals are able to develop a level of honesty with our own selves, we can hold our selves responsible for our choices, actions, patterns, karma and ultimately our own life. When your inner world is in harmony, so is your outer world. Accountability can then emerge not as punishment but for restoration. Not as proving the other right or wrong but as a chance to mend through growth, understanding and increased value towards such bond. Creating solid bonds includes the unwavering effort to want to create healthy foundations. The word “bond’ is in boundary for a reason, it’s not for the other person but to honor the importance of self respect for any bond to withstand the tests of time.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
To my younger self I would say, and quote the exceptional poet and mystic Rumi,

“You are the universe in ecstatic motion”.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
A project I am committed to, no matter how long it takes is self mastery. The greatest project you will ever have to work on is yourself. The wiser you grow, you will realize that being flawed by nature is for a divine purpose and it is a constant reminder that there is always room in life for improvement. As infinite, ever-expanding beings we have to continue to evolve and rise or parts of us will remain unfulfilled.

I am my greatest investment and commitment because I am the source of which all great things emerge. To know myself is to honor myself and love myself. When you don’t work on yourself, your world becomes a mirror of your avoidance. Master self, master everything else.
For me, self mastery is a forever thing.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes and then some! I am not creating this vision for approval, appraisal or popularity. I am giving my best because I won’t accept anything less of myself. If you wait on the applause of others, the wait never ends. The only sure confirmation is yours and God. I have known myself to set high standards because I know what I am capable of accomplishing. There was a time where the external glorification of my gifts made my inner child feel seen which only temporarily treated a wound of unworthiness and the belief that feeling seen equals acceptance. Now, I practice self acceptance through affirming my self worth in everything I do, which brought me to the realization that I don’t need to perform because I am enough. I am thankful for the love and exposure that I have received and continuously still do however my passion supersedes the desire to be praised. While it is true that we all want to be seen in some form or another, the focus is really on the intentions behind what you are creating that will leave a lasting legacy.
