Rising Stars: Meet Tony Ly of Liberty, Missouri

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Ly.

Hi Tony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are in the nail industry for more than 20 years. We started our first business in Kearney, Missouri for 15 years. We found this area would have more opportunities for our business since the first construction started around 2016. Since then we started to image and get prepared for our ideally nail salon in Liberty area.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Since we have enough time for the preparation, and have great sources from family and friend to do, our business is now stable and keeps growing better.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in the nail industry for 20 years. I specialize in custom nails, acrylic and more. I started my first business in Kearney, MO 15 years ago.
I am most proud of my team. I am training and updating new techniques for my staffs all the time every day. Our most success is many of our loyalty customers still come and support our business more than 10 years now.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
The most good luck in my business is having a great team working (all our nail technicians are skilled, friendly, and enthusiastic) and more loyalty customers.
