Today we’d like to introduce you to Tineeca Hughes.

Hi Tineeca, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a 27 years old from Kansas City, MO with a passion for natural and holistic healing. After having no luck with store bought products/medicine for my skin and Hypothyroidism, I decided to embark on the journey of natural healing. After spending hundreds of dollars on skincare products for my ever-changing skin, I started creating my own plant-based skincare products and educating myself on how to heal my body from the inside out. Having much success, I decided to share what I have learned with the world! Thus, BareNine Holistics was born! We seek to provide healing through plant-based skin and body products and aromatherapy while educating and encouraging a holistic lifestyle.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy, but it hasn’t been terrible either. The main challenges I’ve faced are; exposure and finances. Though social media is powerful, your brand/business isn’t guaranteed to go viral or even gain traction. You have to keep working, knowing that the right people will find you and connect with you.

BareNine Holistics provides 100% vegan skincare and aromatherapy. At BareNine, all products are carefully handcrafted with love and intention. We use simple ingredients to produce high-quality products. BareNine aspires to broaden the conversations about beauty by redefining what beauty is. Though our brand’s main focus is healing the underlying causes of disruptive skin, we also seek to start conversations about holistic wellbeing. We seek to educate consumers on the nine dimensions of health; Physical, Emotional, Financial, Occupational, Intellectual, Social and Spiritual. It is not just enough to desire clear skin, our hope is that we encourage people to go BARE in all areas of their lives by Being Acceptive of their Raw Essence. What sets my brand apart from others is that though I am a skincare brand, BareNine goes FAR beyond that. We are a brand that encourages authenticity and self-love while incorporating family and faith. We understand that beauty goes far beyond what we see on the surface. We want our customers to embrace EVERYTHING about their lives while taking their self-care seriously.
