Rising Stars: Meet Tierra Allan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tierra Allan.

Hi Tierra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was introduced to body sculpting when one of my friends told me about a series of post-operative treatments she gets after major cosmetic surgery. I had seen social media influencers doing something like this in the bigger cities, but I didn’t understand what it was. After I did some research, I decided to try the treatments out for myself to see what all the hype was about. I was so amazed at my results. I had lost almost 6 inches off of my waist in a matter of weeks. I was so impressed yet confused about why didn’t as widely known these services in kc as in bigger metro areas. I bragged for months to my friends and family about my experience and decided that this was something that I needed to tap into. This all occurred in 2020 when the world was knee-deep in the pandemic. Around that time, everyone was starting a business and becoming entrepreneurs. I took a leap of faith and applied for an EIDL disaster relief loan and paid to get paid and certified. I was certified for almost 7 months before I started offering services. I was so worried about having all of my ducks in a row that I let that stop me from getting started. Finally, I made an Instagram post about the new services I offer, and within a day, it flooded my inbox. Many women told me they’ve been looking for someone local to start offering these services. I took on my first client (who did not know she was my very first client), and the rest was history. From there, I started getting more referrals, more clientele, and even organic phone calls from google. I have been in business for almost 2 years, and my business is constantly growing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I struggled to get clients in the beginning. Not only was marketing a struggle, but I also had to educate my demographic. It has been a challenge having to explain what body sculpting is and reassure the process and how it all works. It has also been challenging having such a niche business in a city that is not as progressive as cities like Atlanta, Houston, or other major areas where these services are really popular.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I do body sculpting and contouring. It is non-invasive liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, and tummy tucks. I specialize in shrinking stomachs and waist. I’m also known for the vacuum BBL, which largely enhances the appearance of the buttox. I’m most proud of the results that I produce with my talent. What sets me apart is that I want to create my lane and become a local household name in this niche market.

This is a great read! I love seeing rising stars/entrepreneurs excel in their talents and build their business from the ground up! I especially love to see black women who are business owners, pave the way for others to take their own leap of faith to start a business, or any other endeavor. This is a great service and I have personally seen Tierra’s work! #SculptKC
