Hi T-Roy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Blue Springs church of Christ is part of the church that Jesus Christ established in the New Testament Scriptures. We attempt to follow only what God’s Word says and commands for our lives. With many ideas that surround the religious world, one may be very confused and not understand what God might expect of them. In every case, simplicity and understanding is the best, founded only in God’s Word. The Blue Springs church of Christ strives to do exactly that. To follow what God says, which has led us to where we are today still attempting to do the same.
Currently, we are working diligently to establish a growing community through social media. Much progress has been made in preparations for this work and we are looking to continue this project in the coming weeks and months. We are very excited to develop programs, lessons, and information anyone can use to bring them closer to Christ!
We would invite anyone to come visit us to enjoy our friendly atmosphere and to consider simple biblical truths from God’s Word. We are open to sitting down and discussing questions and answers about religion and what true belief looks like.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As with any endeavor, there will be struggles and hardships. The hardest trial we have faced is to remove pride from our decisions and to simply submit to what God has commanded. Sometimes, human ideas want to interfere and this is where the difficult times enter. If however, one lets God dictate what should be done, the result is so much better than what we could have come up with.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I am the minister for the Blue Springs church of Christ. I specialize in developing messages, lessons, studies directly from the Word of God for the use of growth, learning, and spiritual development for all who are interested. Also, I work to serve the congregation in areas of visitation, encouragement, and advice based on the Scriptures.
One of our main works right now is developing a growing social media platform for the purposes of spreading godliness and the gospel to the area.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If you are considering a spiritual walk, the best advice I can give you comes directly from the principles of God: Follow His commandments and everything will work out for the best in the end.
