Rising Stars: Meet Nick Cesare of Greater Kansas City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Cesare.

Nick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We are owners and operators of a polyjacking concrete lifting and repair company. We are both fire fighters with the city of independence that have been on the same crew for the past three years. Todd has prior experience in concrete work prior to firefighting and brought the idea of buying/running the business from his friends who were selling at the time. We started and have been operational since July of 2025.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part, but as many new businesses starting out there were some expected speed bumps and learning curve along the way but overcame by either taking classes, asking for advice, ect. Definitely having worked house fires and emergencies for years, we’ve trust and camaraderie with each other. We are excited and look forward to building a successful business.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in concrete lifting and void filling with polyurethane foam, along with waterproofing and concrete repair. As firefighters we are held to a high standard of professionalism competency and integrity. We strive to treat our business and customers with these same principles.

What are your plans for the future?
Our future plans are to continue to operate and manage our business to a successful respectful company by adding employees and vehicles. Of course while continuing to serve the public as firefighters.
