Hi Katelynn , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hello everyone,

My name is Katelynn Wampler, but some know me as WAMPWAMPVLOGS. I was born deaf when I was a kid so I didn’t have many friends growing up but that didn’t stop me from doing what I loved. Me and my family moved around a lot growing up. I went to different schools and graduated from different schools. I met a lot of different people who became friends with me but when I moved we didn’t talk to each other as much. I realized in life that if they wanted to be in your life and friends they would still be there regardless if you move miles away or even to a different city. I started my YouTube channel back in 2018 I think, ever since I started it has helped my life out a lot better by meeting my subscribers and having a big fan base. YouTube is a big part of me and I like to do film and record videos to post whether it’s with close friends or family. I do pranks, day-in-life videos, challenges, and more. God has been a big part of my life, and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here today. I went to College from 2019-2022, and played college basketball and graduated in my junior year. I always got told if you have a dream, chase it and don’t give up. If someone tells you, you can’t do it don’t listen to them cause they Never chased their dream.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is always full of struggles, but our Father up in heaven always has our back. Our Father put these obstacles in our life to see who are the strong ones, and who can beat the obstacles that he is giving us. Jesus has given me a lot of obstacles and I just kept asking why. Then I realized that if I can beat anything that gets thrown in my life then I can beat any obstacles that come my way. God gave up his life for us/his children to live on earth for him. God died on the cross, and done all of this in 6 days, and God rested on the 7th day. If God can do it, I believe we all can do it and fight for each other not against each other.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an entrepreneur. I play sports, I do YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. When I first started my social media I didn’t have many people on it. I started posting more and got my stuff out there to other people. In 2022-2023 I have hit 14k subscribers on YouTube. It was a struggle but I kept believing in myself and I had people who were around me who kept pushing me to grind. I am known for my strength, but mainly my social media and my nickname WampWamp. I am proud of who I have become these past few years, I have changed my perspective on life.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is probably playing sports I loved, and doing pageants with my brothers. I loved doing things with my family, whether it was going on vacation, family game night movie night, and so on. Then we got older and moved on with our lives. I still talk to them but I will always cherish those moments I did have with my family and my childhood.
