Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessie Green.
Hi Jessie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Usually I was content with having something in my right hand to making drawings with. It wasn’t until I was drawing one day and someone mentioned being a doctor in the future that it felt like there was a lighting bolt in my head. From that day I made it my mission to just make art.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The path has been really interesting… not easy, but I’m not mad about it at all!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My current body of work is based in making large scale canvases. I have been trying my hand at sculptures and fashion design.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Really that there is no set path to being an artist or creative. The path is what you make it. It’ll be fun though and always a new thing around every corner
