Hi Hosea2Hollow, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Hosea2Hollow, an independent artist from Kansas City, Missouri. I started making music as a way to process life experiences, loss, relationships, and personal struggles that were difficult to express any other way. Over time, what began as an outlet turned into a passion and a purpose.
As Hosea2Hollow, I’ve built a platform by being honest about pain, growth, mistakes, and perseverance. I’ve grown an audience across social media while staying independent and focused on creating music that feels real.
Today, I’m continuing to grow as an artist while working on larger projects like my upcoming album Warm Hands, Cold Heart. My goal is to leave a lasting impact through honest music that reflects both where I’ve been and where I’m headed.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think there’s such a thing as a smooth road in this line of work. Every stage of my journey came with challenges, setbacks, and lessons that I had to learn the hard way. Looking back, those experiences shaped me not only as a person but as an artist.
There were situations that tested my patience, resilience, and belief in myself. At the time, some of those moments felt like obstacles, but now I see them as necessary parts of my growth. They gave me perspective, taught me how to adapt, and helped me develop a stronger mindset.
I’m grateful for both the good and the bad because without those experiences, I wouldn’t have the stories, emotions, and understanding that I bring into my music today. The road hasn’t been perfect, but every challenge played a role in making me who I am.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known for my honesty and vulnerability in my music. Rather than creating songs solely for trends, I focus on making records that people can connect with on a personal level. My catalog ranges from introspective and emotional tracks to more versatile records that showcase different sides of my artistry.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been building an audience independently and connecting with thousands of listeners through both my music and social media presence. Every project I release represents a chapter of my life and allows me to share experiences that others may relate to.
What sets me apart is my willingness to be transparent. I don’t just tell stories about success. I talk about setbacks, grief, mistakes, healing, and personal growth. My goal is to create timeless music that helps people feel understood while continuing to evolve as both an artist and a person.

The thing I least like the least is the “crab in a bucket” mentality a lot of people here have. The same way you your life can change knowing the right people, the same way you can be stuck here.
