DNA, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
What started as two DJs spinning at house parties quickly grew into something bigger. We shared a love for music long before we started dating, but once we got together, joining forces behind the decks felt like a natural next step. From house parties to bar gigs, clubs, and eventually festivals, we’ve been chasing the beat ever since. That journey took us from Kansas City to Los Angeles, where we continue to bring our sound, energy, and love for the dance floor to every set. KC will always be where it all began, but our groove has taken us far beyond our hometown roots. #dnapartymusic
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Making the move from Kansas City to Los Angeles was one of the biggest challenges we’ve taken on, but it’s also been one of the most rewarding. Breaking into a new scene where no one knows your name is never easy, and building a following from the ground up can make landing gigs a real challenge. But we’ve learned that the right energy, attitude, and genuine connection with people can take you a long way. The journey has taught us to think bigger, embrace the unknown, and believe that the possibilities are endless. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited to see where the next chapter takes us!

DNA is a DJ duo act consisting of Disco and Alex, known for our hometown roots and eclectic style. Whether we’re setting the vibe or taking the party into another dimension, our mission is simple: keep the energy high, the dance floor moving, and the universe grooving.
