Rising Stars: Meet Bryenna Timotijevic of Lenexa, Kansas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryenna Timotijevic.

Hi Bryenna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the beauty industry began at just 13 years old. I’ve always had a passion for fashion and beauty, so for my birthday that year, I asked my mom to take me to a makeup class. I wanted to learn how to apply makeup the right way, and that experience opened the door to a whole new world for me. Shortly after, I got involved in pageants and modeling, where I fell in love with the creativity and artistry behind each makeup look.

As I spent more time in front of the camera, my interest in skincare started to grow—I became focused on keeping my skin healthy, glowing, and photo-ready. But it wasn’t until I had my first facial right before my wedding that I truly experienced the magic of skincare. The glow and confidence I felt walking down the aisle stayed with me long after the big day, and that moment inspired me to pursue esthetics professionally.

Today, I’m proud to be a Licensed Esthetician, offering services that help others feel confident in their skin. From facials and waxing to lash and brow treatments, spray tans, and makeup, I aim to create a luxurious, relaxing experience for every client. Whether it’s for everyday self-care or a milestone moment, my goal is to make each person feel radiant, confident, and effortlessly elegant.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It wasn’t always a smooth road! I was told “no” a lot more than I was told “yes.” There were times I questioned whether I was on the right path, especially when opportunities didn’t come as easily as I hoped. I also worked while I was in school, juggling multiple responsibilities just to keep moving forward. My weeks were long, and I was often physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted.

There were moments where I felt burnt out, overwhelmed, and unsure if all the sacrifice would be worth it. I missed out on events with friends and family because I was either studying, working, or chasing the next opportunity. But even in the hard times, I never lost sight of my passion. I knew I wanted to create a space where others could feel beautiful and cared for—and that purpose kept me going, even when things got tough.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m especially passionate about advanced skincare treatments like dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, and nanoinfusion. I love how these techniques can completely transform the skin, helping clients feel confident and radiant from the inside out. I’m also deeply passionate about spray tanning and makeup artistry—there’s something so special about collaborating with someone to create their perfect look for a big moment. Whether it’s a wedding, photoshoot, or night out, I’m here to make sure you feel flawless and celebrated.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is when I was 13 years old, I got to walk in my first runway show in New York City!
