Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Haynes.
Hi Brian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started making content about 8 years ago to share my passion for gaming with others. Since I started, I’ve expanded my content creation to several different venues and areas. I got to where I am today by constantly learning, working, and observing different areas of the internet. Also, being true to myself and the kind of content I want to make has made everyday exciting and enjoyable.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I don’t think any type of content creation can be “smooth”, because fads and trends come and go so fast. You have to be highly flexible and constantly learning. This can make the highs in your career extremely rewarding, but you have to be ready for the lows as well. It’s just important to enjoy what you’re doing and do your best to keep a positive attitude every day
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I technically have two jobs. I’m a full time firefighter/EMT and wouldn’t trade that job for anything. Everyday is extremely rewarding and brings something new.
I’ve been creating content part time for about 8 years and look forward to the constant new experiences and challenges. I’m most proud of my ability to stay consistent and power through my lows. I would say what sets me a part is my ability to adjust and be open to new ideas. Also, my ability to work through the lows in content creation. Like I stated, the lows will always come, and it’s how you respond to them that will set you apart.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family makes me the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m a proud father and husband and nothing brings me more joy then seeing my family happy and thriving.
