Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley McNeil.
Ashley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey towards the present moment has been a winding one. Knowing I wanted to do something I loved and beneficial for others prompted me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, which led to a career in college admissions.
I returned to school a year later to earn a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I spent seven years in special education and teaching 5th-grade students. I loved every moment, but I realized teaching was not the only passion I had. I was confronted with an incredible opportunity from the owner of In the Zone Cryo & Health Upgrades, Joni VanHorn, to join her amazing tribe.
To join forces with such a positive individual and be surrounded by others who make their overall wellness a constant priority was an opportunity I could not pass by. Therefore, I eagerly attended training and earned an Instasculpt Technician Certification and created InstasculptingKC. The non-invasive body sculpting uses ultrasonic cavitation to melt away fat. We often call it “Insta-Magic” because the results have been shockingly amazing.
The turn away from elementary education and into body contouring may seem unorthodox to the outside observer, but I think our journey takes us to where we need to be before we land in the spot that feels right. My business degree helped me with the fundamentals of running a business, and in education, I learned how to properly educate and build trusting relationships. These acquired skills have converged harmoniously to assist with the current skill set needed to give my patients an optimal experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have been blessed with great clients, and as with any business, finding a work-life balance can be difficult. What makes Instasculpting so great, is that I am able to work with almost any schedule, including my own. When creating the plan, I can schedule with regards to their family and work obligations.
I know fitness and health can be difficult to prioritize, but I have the advantage to work with my client’s day-to-day routine and ensuring they see the results they want.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Instasculpting helps get rid of stubborn areas of fat and cellulite that individuals can’t eliminate with diet and exercise. It is able to target most areas of the body and is able to provide tightening and diminish wrinkles on the face. The instasculpt uses ultrasonic cavitation to melt away fat. Its multi-directional acoustic waves ensure that focused energy is applied only to the target area of fat cells.
The fat cells are broken down into glycerol and free fatty acids, then transported through the lymphatic system where they are safely metabolized from the body. In summary, it melts away fat so your body can naturally process and get rid of it, all while tightening and toning the deep skin tissue! Most clients are able to see results immediately after their first treatment.
The procedure is non-invasive, therefore sessions don’t involve anesthesia, bandages, or recovery time. A single treatment is about an hour in length. During treatments, clients relax and often even fall asleep. Immediately after the procedure clients return to their normal activity.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I measure success through the eyes of my clients. I started this journey to help individuals feel more confident. Therefore, success is made when my client and I reach the set goal. For some, it may be that stubborn fat tissue on the abdomen, whereas for others it could be to reduce stretch marks and cellulite.
Whatever the client and I plan, it’s a journey that we conquer together, and I feel that I have reached success when my client exhibits more confidence.
