Today we’d like to introduce you to Aimee Huebner.
Hi Aimee, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my blog “Planes & Pretty Things” back in May of 2018. My husband and I had just moved to Austin, TX, on a temporary military move. I’m a former elementary teacher, which was difficult career-wise moving so often. I was looking for something that would work with the military lifestyle. I have always loved fashion and admired other bloggers that I followed in college. That’s when the idea of starting my own blog began!
Fast Forward three years and another military move, I am now full-time blogging and loving every minute of it here in Kansas City. My focus is affordable fashion for women. My husband is also my photographer!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I learned that there is a lot more to blogging or being an “influencer” than just taking photos. It is also marketing, photography, editing, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work. It definitely took some time to figure it all out.
