Hi Webster, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started auctioning in 1994 at my father-in-laws auction when the auctioneers voice gave out. The auctioneer asked if I could auction, so I thought of the auctioneer song, said yes, and have been auctioning ever since then. I worked with Lungren auction for years then in 2015 started my own auction business. It has done well and we continue to provide services to families, businesses, and sheriff’s sales statewide.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Really it has been a smooth ride, transitioning to my own auction company was fulfilling as I also provide Real Estate services to buyers and sellers. So I have been fortunate in this business.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Choose your auction school wisely. I went to auction school in a nearby state and it was great for beginners but they did not provide much information on running a business and the information they provided on Real Estate auctions did not line up with federal/state requitements. So choose your auction school wisely.
