Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Orsolini.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Castle Studios started from the passion and love of music, music production and simply creating together under the safe roof.
It stemmed from a need to create a safe space for artists to create and share their passions in an environment ran by artists for artists.
Castle Studios is meant to be a hub connecting the East and West coast, allowing artists living or passing by to record, capture and share their vision with the world.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. I think anything in life is never truly a “smooth ride”.
As it shouldn’t be!
I treat it more like an adventure. Where failure does not exist and only learning and growth prevail..
Castle Studios was made to bridge the gap in a still very new, very young music industry in Kansas City.
Kansas City doesn’t have the same established music industry infrastructure as cities like Nashville, Los Angeles, or Atlanta. Many artists here have incredible talent but limited access to professional resources, industry connections, and sustainable career opportunities.
Building Castle Studios has meant helping create that infrastructure instead of simply benefiting from it.
We’re not just serving the local music community. We’re working to strengthen it by fostering collaboration, creating opportunities, and proving that world-class creative work can be built right here in Kansas City.
We have a chance to challenge the old ways and pioneer a new one for artists and ran by artists.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Located in South Kansas City near Ward Parkway, we opened our doors in 2024 with a simple mission: to help turn your ideas into reality. Whether you’re an aspiring musician, a seasoned artist, or someone exploring a passion for sound, our studio is here to provide the tools, expertise, and welcoming environment you need to bring your vision to life.
We believe that creativity thrives in a supportive community, and that’s why we’re dedicated to serving the vibrant and diverse artists of Kansas City. From recording and mixing to brainstorming your next big project, Castle Studios is more than just a studio, it’s a hub for collaboration and growth. Together, let’s create something extraordinary.
Castle Studios was built on the belief that artists deserve more than just a room with microphones. They deserve a creative partner. Our goal isn’t simply to record music; it’s to help people build lasting careers, tell meaningful stories, and create work they’re genuinely proud of.
We take an artist-first approach to everything we do. Whether someone is stepping into a studio for the first time or has years of experience, we meet them where they are. We focus on collaboration over transactions, education over gatekeeping, and long-term relationships over quick sessions.
What also makes Castle Studios unique is the breadth of our creative ecosystem. Beyond recording, mixing, and mastering, we offer music production, sonic branding, film scoring, sound design, photography, videography, artist consulting, merchandise design, and live entertainment through Castle Live. Rather than sending artists to five different companies, we can help guide nearly every aspect of their creative journey under one roof.
Our community is equally important. Castle Studios is intentionally inclusive and multicultural, bringing together artists from different backgrounds, genres, and experiences. We believe great music comes from authentic collaboration, not competition.
Finally, we embrace technology without losing the human element. We work with modern production tools and international creative partners while keeping our process deeply personal. Every project is approached with intention, craftsmanship, and genuine care because no two artists are the same.
What were you like growing up?
As a kid I saw my family do so many things with their hands. Build, create, fix I mean there was not a moment where an uncles or cousins were not tinkering with something to make it better.
My family values stem from the idea that we can learn from one another, pass knowledge along and grow our skills. We worked hard but had fun, we sang, cooked together ate together and celebrated each other company. When we weren’t arguing about politics or other subjects ha!
I loved growing up in that environment, I enjoyed talking and using my hands to build things and I think that translates a lot in my work today and in why I built this ecosystem.
