Meet Stephen Raines of Premier Comfort Heating & Cooling

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Raines.

Hi Stephen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always worked in the residential construction field in some way since my teenage years. I was trained in HVAC through one of Kansas City’s top companies. I found a new passion for HVAC and assisting homeowners with finding the best solutions for their homes and businesses. I had a desire to create my own company to provide quality work & affordable solutions to homeowners and businesses within my community. My wife and I decided to open the business and had it up and running within a week, and Premier Comfort Heating & Cooling was born.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a journey. It’s bumpy at times, but it’s exciting. We are always learning something new. It’s been very rewarding and we enjoy meeting so many people in our community.

We’ve been impressed with Premier Comfort Heating & Cooling, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a residential & light commercial HVAC company, locally owned & operated in Kansas City’s Northland. We offer preventative maintenance, service and installation for heating, cooling & indoor comfort. Our quality of work and knowledge set us aside from the competition. We are proud of the value of the work we offer and the relationships we build with our customers & business partners.

We offer preventative maintenance agreements, after hours emergency service, have financing available and the best warranties on the market.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Every business owner is a risk taker! We take risks everyday. Nothing is guaranteed, we have to always be willing to put ourselves out there and be open to receive. It can feel like a gamble at times, so it’s important not to risk more than you can afford to lose.
