Meet Steffany Barton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steffany Barton.

Hi Steffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For as long as I can remember, I knew in my heart I wanted to make the world a better place. Though I was raised in a very traditional religious setting, I believed angels and even pets and friends who had passed away could somehow communicate with us from Heaven. In time, I set aside my spiritual pursuits for a practical purpose- pursuing a degree in nursing. Working as a nurse was wonderful, stressful, challenging, and rewarding all at the same time. Had it not been for my mom’s death, I might have remained in my nursing position for a long time.

Yet, her loss reignited my interest in after-death communication and the journey our souls make on the Other Side. I read and studied, tried and failed, but I never lost hope that I could speak with spirits. Finally, one day, when I was relaxed, sitting outside, I could hear and see and feel something much more than the usual. I trusted this, leaned into it, and discovered that I was consciously, truly communicating with the Spirit world. I began to share this gift with others, and I am so glad that I did.

Death is not an end. It is a radical change, and when it happens, life as we knew it can never go back to the way it was. Yet, with time and trust, we can learn to move forward with grace and grit, knowing that those we love remain ever ready at our side. Love lives.

My practice is robust and diverse. I host private sessions, small groups and work with kids and adults alike. I have a knack for understanding future events and enjoy illuminating past life information as well. Inspired by my journey and wanting to share, I have written three books and created three decks of oracle cards. I love my work, I love my clients, and I love the gift of life… on earth and as it is in Heaven.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t trade anything for all that I’ve learned through my experiences as a medium. The biggest obstacle I’ve faced is a general misgiving and misunderstanding around what my work consists of. From Hollywood portrayals to seedy tarot shops, intuitives often receive a pretty bad rap. Sadly, some individuals working in this field are less than professional and do more harm than good, so I understand the hesitancy in having a session or reaching out.

Additionally, most of us tend to fear what we don’t understand, and death is a difficult topic to wrap our minds around. I’ve found that my work is just as much about communication as it is education. Speaking with spirits is certainly nothing to be afraid of, and I work very hard to bring sincerity and authenticity to mediumship. But, bridging the gap between this world and the next, watching hearts and lives transform as I communicate messages of love and hope from beyond is simply miraculous. The wonder of love is what keeps me going past all the obstacles. I am here for the long haul.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I offer mediumship sessions. During a typical personal meeting, I first establish contact with loved ones who have passed away. This includes friends, family, and even pets. Love is love, on this side and the Other Side. In addition, I share information about guardian angels, spirit guides and can overview soul purpose and discern what the future may look like. I communicate all this in a very conversational fashion, and information comes to me quickly. I see, hear, and feel spirits with my eyes open. Each session is unique, but every session provides powerful comfort and practical insight.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I am lucky to have been born with tremendous patience and fervent desire to serve. I am also truly lucky to have so many awesome friends and family who have supported me on this journey.
