Meet Ryan Loiacono of Custom Home Power

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Loiacono

Hi Ryan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started when I was given the opportunity to run a company that was bought out of bankruptcy. I was given the product the Skystream 3.7. This product was in shambles at the time and consisted in the form of a binder, a flash drive, inventory, and a manufacturing floor. From there, my partner Joe and I began reading the manual and determining how this product was made. From there we began designing new blades and parts for our windturbine to make it military grade and more efficient. Now, we are combining our product with other types of renewable energy products like, solar and batteries to give the client a system that is self-reliant and not at the mercy of the grid. Now, we provide products to farmers, home owners, and small businesses to eliminate their electric bill, all while giving them a beautiful and functional form of sustainability.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the hardest things that has come from the acquisition of this product is finding product fit that originally had a product fit but is no longer that same product fit.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
That I don’t have a background in renewable energies. I come from a background of Industrial engineering. With a degree from K-State.
