Meet Paul And Jayme Voliva of National

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul And Jayme Voliva.

Hi Paul and Jayme , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Four years ago, while planning family vacations of our own, we noticed that many destinations had countless resources to help families research attractions, restaurants, and activities. Surprisingly, our own hometown of Branson, Missouri—a place that welcomes millions of visitors each year—didn’t have many family-focused resources created from the perspective of parents with young children.
We felt there was an opportunity to fill that gap. As a local family, we knew firsthand which attractions were worth the time and money, where families could make lasting memories, and how to experience Branson beyond the typical tourist recommendations.
At the same time, our oldest daughter had always loved being on camera. She was constantly pretending to host her own TV shows, so starting a YouTube channel felt like a natural fit for our family. We decided to give it our best effort, combining our local knowledge, positive outlook, and genuine love for Branson and the Ozarks.
That decision became The Branson Fam. What started as a passion project has grown into a trusted resource for thousands of families planning trips to Branson each year. Today, we continue creating videos, sharing local tips, highlighting small businesses, and helping families make the most of their vacations. Four years later, we’re incredibly grateful for the community that has grown alongside us, and we’re excited to keep sharing the places and experiences that make the Ozarks so special.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. If you’ve ever heard the phrase, “Good things in life don’t always come easy,” we can honestly say that’s been true for our journey as content creators.
The Branson Fam was our very first experience creating content, so we had to learn almost everything from scratch. From filming and editing videos to understanding social media, photography, and storytelling, we spent countless hours researching, practicing, and learning through trial and error. There wasn’t a roadmap—we simply figured things out one step at a time.
Like any small business, we’ve also faced plenty of challenges. Technology doesn’t always cooperate, family schedules don’t always align with the events we’d love to cover, and as full-time educators in a local school district, our careers and family responsibilities have always come first. There have also been times when illness or unexpected family emergencies have forced us to adjust our plans and timelines.
One thing we’ve learned is that authenticity matters. We’ve always tried to be honest with our followers when life doesn’t go according to plan because that’s something everyone can relate to. Social media often shows only the highlights, but we’ve found that people appreciate seeing the real side of content creation. Not everything is perfect, and that’s okay. Staying genuine, supporting one another as a family, and remembering why we started has helped us continue growing while building a community that values trust just as much as the content we create.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
In addition to being full-time educators in our local school district, we also run The Branson Fam, a family-focused content creation business dedicated to helping families discover the best of Branson, the Ozarks, and beyond.
We specialize in creating honest, family-friendly content that helps visitors confidently plan their vacations. Whether we’re highlighting local attractions, restaurants, seasonal events, hidden gems, or money-saving tips, our goal is to make trip planning easier while showcasing the experiences that create lasting family memories.
What we’re most proud of is the opportunity to help thousands of families each year experience Branson to its fullest. Knowing that our recommendations have helped families create meaningful vacations is incredibly rewarding and continues to motivate everything we do.
One of our newest accomplishments is the launch of our official website, TheBransonFam.com. It serves as a one-stop resource where visitors can watch our latest episodes, browse recent articles and posts, research Branson attractions and shows, and conveniently book tickets—all in one place. Our goal is to simplify the planning process so families can spend less time researching and more time making memories together.
What sets The Branson Fam apart is our perspective. We’re not just visiting Branson—we live here, raise our family here, and genuinely love this community. Every recommendation comes from our own experiences, and we strive to remain authentic, positive, and trustworthy. Rather than simply promoting destinations, we focus on helping families make informed decisions and create unforgettable experiences together.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What we love most about Branson is that it’s truly a destination where every member of the family can find something they enjoy. Whether you’re looking for world-class live entertainment, outdoor adventure, thrilling attractions, delicious local restaurants, or opportunities to simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks, Branson offers something for everyone.
As the Live Music Capital of the World, Branson has an incredible entertainment scene, but that’s only part of its appeal. We also love the area’s beautiful lakes, hiking trails, scenic views, theme parks, museums, and year-round festivals. It’s a place where families can make lasting memories together, regardless of age or interests.
Another aspect of Branson that we deeply appreciate is its unwavering commitment to honoring our nation’s veterans and active military. That spirit of patriotism and gratitude is woven into the community and is something that makes Branson truly unique.
The thing that links everything we love about our city together though is the people that make it such a special place. The hospitality that is prevalent almost everywhere you go is second to none. We have amazing attractions, shows, and beautiful natural beauty in our area, but it is all for not, if the locals are unable to add to the family memories made by our visitors.
If we had to choose one thing we’d like to see improve, it would simply be greater awareness of everything Branson has to offer. Many people still think of Branson as only a destination for live shows or a certain age group, when in reality it has evolved into an incredible family vacation destination filled with outdoor recreation, exciting attractions, great dining, and experiences for every generation. Helping change that perception is one of the reasons we started The Branson Fam in the first place.
