Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Brizendine
Hi Nicole, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The story of Tuk Tuk Thai begins as I am trying to fulfill my sister’s dream of owning a restaurant. She immigrated here and brought me to state. My sister works so hard to help send me off to college. So it began 5 year ago that we both took the journey. Our goal is to share our love of Thaifood to our friends, family and community. Food brings
people together. They might come in as strangers, but we hope that they will leave as a friend or family.
We got our Tuk Tuk Thai name from vacationing in Thailand when my son is about 9 years old. We took Tuk Tuk (motorcycle taxi) in Chiang Mai for siteseeing and he loved it so much that we ended up renting it for all day.
Our popular dish is Pad Thai. We also have a good variety of chef specialty like Roasted Duck, Gaprow, Crispy Garlic Shrimp, along with curry, rice and noodle.
Our appertizer sampler is also very popular for anyone that wanted to try a little bit of everything.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth ride, but we survived Covid.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
