Meet Nia Taylor of Streaks Of Gold Hair Restoration

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nia Taylor. 

Hi Nia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I knew as a small child I wanted to do hair. I remember watching a girl braid a baby doll head and I was so intrigued I started practicing and loved every minute of it. Not to mention my grandmother was a licensed cosmetologist and my grandfather owned and operated a barbershop so I guess we can say it’s in the bloodline. I became a licensed cosmetologist in year 2000 and haven’t missed a beat in the industry. I frequent hair shows where back in 2009 I sat in on a Trichology class. I again was so intrigued I signed up to become certified. After a year of trailblazing and traveling to Stockbridge Georgia, I graduated from the only accredited Trichology school in the US (NTTI National Trichology Training Institute). All while still working as a stylist, I obtained employment with the #1 global hair loss company in the world (Hair Club for Men). I became the treatment specialist and stayed for approximately a year and decided to leave because I knew there was so much more to my vision than what I was doing. I then went on to rent a private suite in Lee’s Summit Mo. so I could began operating as a Trichologist at full capacity. I offer a host of services all geared towards total health and wellness since that’s where healthy hair starts. I absolutely LOVE what I do and find great joy and fulfillment changing lives one crown at a time. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road has not always been easy especially early on when you try and find your place in the industry. There was so much more to Nia but early in the game, I wasn’t able to identify what that was. I entered hair competitions, went to class after class to sharpen my skills, had fun but never received the recognition I felt I deserved. I sometimes would get bummed out because I knew I was good but never seemed to quite fit in. 

We’ve been impressed with Streaks Of Gold Hair Restoration LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Streaks of Gold Hair Restoration I has been around for several years but just now beginning to become known… We identify, educate and rectify any and all hair loss issues and scalp problems. We specialize in restoring hair back to its health but if by chance the follicles are dead, we specialize in hair restoration where if he/she can’t grow it, you’ll NEVER know it because we give a very natural realistic look where it looked like it’s growing from the scalp… We are definitely set apart because we are stellar on every head we touch… If hair loss is caught early enough, we can definitely reverse the loss and regrow what’s been compromised starting with a body scan to capture what the body is lacking. We go over and beyond to make sure we get the results clients deserve.

My brand is “ALL THINGS GOLDEN “ that’s why for years I’ve always kept a gold streak in my hair on the right side.
