Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Morales.
Hi Lindsey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has been one of growth, reinvention, and learning to fully embrace who I am. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and my multicultural background shaped the way I see people, identity, and the world.
I earned my degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish, followed by a Master’s in Organizational Development. After graduate school, I started my consulting business, originally called Meta Vida, with a focus on personal and professional development.
Over the years, my work evolved into helping entrepreneurs and women—particularly women of color—build confidence, recognize their value, and become more visible in both their personal and professional lives.
My journey has also expanded creatively through writing, media, speaking, and modeling. In 2025, I began pursuing modeling in my 30s, which unexpectedly became part of my own healing and confidence journey. It taught me that being seen is about so much more than appearance—it’s about presence, self-expression, and believing you deserve to take up space.
Today, I’m continuing to build my business while using my experiences, creativity, faith, and story to encourage others. I’ve learned that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself, pursue something new, and step into the person you’re becoming.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that building a business, building a brand, and building yourself all happen at the same time. Every challenge has forced me to grow—not just as an entrepreneur, but as a leader and as a person.
I’m naturally a visionary. I tend to see possibilities before limitations, and that mindset has been one of my greatest strengths, but it has also challenged me. I’ve had to learn that vision alone isn’t enough. It takes structure, discipline, patience, and self-awareness to turn a vision into something sustainable.
I’ve also had to become comfortable with uncertainty and with not always having the answers. My faith has been an important part of navigating those seasons. When I don’t know exactly how things will work out, I remind myself to trust God, keep moving forward, and stay committed to the vision He has placed in me.
The road hasn’t always been easy, but every struggle has taught me something about leadership, resilience, and who I’m becoming. Ultimately, I’ve learned that building a successful business isn’t just about what you create—it’s about who you become along the way.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work sits at the intersection of branding, business strategy, image, media, and storytelling. I’m the CEO of Meta Vida Enterprise, where I help entrepreneurs, leaders, and purpose-driven professionals become more confident, visible, and impactful by teaching them how to build and communicate a brand that truly represents who they are.
With a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and more than 11 years of experience in personal and professional development, I’ve built my career around helping people recognize their value, find their voice, and confidently use their gifts to make an impact.
What I’m known for is helping people connect the dots between who they are and how they show up. I believe your brand is more than a logo, a website, or a social media presence—it’s the experience people have with you and the story they remember.
What sets me apart is the breadth of my experience. I’m not only a brand and image consultant and speaker; I’m also a radio host, vocalist, model, actress, and media personality. That creative background allows me to approach branding from both a strategic and human perspective. I understand how to educate, entertain, tell a story, and create meaningful connections with an audience.
I’m most proud of building a career that allows me to help other people see what’s possible for themselves. Whether I’m consulting with a business owner, speaking to an audience, hosting behind a microphone, or performing on stage, my goal is always the same: to help people recognize their value, own their voice, and show up in a way that makes an impact.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is going to Winstead’s with my grandmother when I was a little girl. She would often take me there after we went to see a movie, and I loved it.
I would get a little cheeseburger, onion rings, and a cherry limeade with sherbet ice cream in it. It was such a simple thing, but those moments with my grandmother were special to me.
Looking back, I think what makes that memory so meaningful isn’t really the food or even going to the movies—it’s the feeling of being with my grandmother and having that special time together. Those little traditions and moments of joy are the memories that stay with you.
Whenever I think about Winstead’s, I think about being a little girl, spending time with my grandmother, and feeling happy and loved. That’s one of those childhood memories I’ll always treasure.
