Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Dueling.
Hi Kelsey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our Story: Boost & Buckle Cleaning Company
Boost & Buckle Cleaning Company wasn’t built from comfort it was built from resilience.
Kelsey Marie Dueling and Kaiden Dueling began their journey like many young families full of hope, but faced with real challenges. After making the life-changing decision to leave Idaho and start fresh in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, they found themselves navigating uncertainty, pressure, and the weight of rebuilding from the ground up.
It wasn’t easy.
There were moments of doubt, financial strain, and long days where the path forward wasn’t clear. Like many families chasing a better future, they had to learn, adapt, and push forward without guarantees. But what carried them through was their commitment to each other and more importantly, their children.
In the middle of that season, something shifted.
As parents, Kelsey became deeply focused on the safety and well-being of their kids especially when it came to the products and gear they used every day. Car seats, highchairs, and baby equipment weren’t just “things” they were lifelines. And yet, no one was treating them with the level of care and precision they deserved.
What started as a personal frustration quickly became a realization:
there was a gap and an opportunity to do something different.
Instead of waiting for a solution, they decided to become one.
Together, Kelsey and Kaiden built Boost & Buckle Cleaning Company from the ground up founded on safety, trust, and a refusal to cut corners. They committed to using natural, dye-free products and strictly following manufacturer guidelines creating a service that didn’t just clean, but protected.
Kelsey became the heartbeat of the brand driven by a mother’s standard of care that refuses to compromise. Kaiden brought the vision and entrepreneurial grit building the foundation, systems, and long-term growth strategy that would turn an idea into a real company.
What once felt like a setback became the setup.
Today, Boost & Buckle is growing rapidly across the Kansas City metro, serving families who expect more more safety, more quality, and more intention behind the service they trust with their children’s gear. What started during a challenging chapter is now evolving into something far bigger than they imagined.
And this is just the beginning.
This is a comeback story one built on faith, family, and relentless forward movement. The struggles didn’t break them they refined them. And now, success isn’t just a goal it’s the direction they’re heading, with momentum on their side.
At its core, Boost & Buckle is still about what mattered from day one:
Protecting kids.
Supporting families.
And building a life that once felt out of reach.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all and that’s what makes this journey meaningful.
For Kelsey Marie Dueling and Kaiden Dueling, the road to building Boost & Buckle Cleaning Company has been anything but smooth. After relocating from Idaho to the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, they were essentially starting over new environment, new network, and no built in foundation.
There were real challenges.
Financial pressure was one of the biggest. Like many families taking a leap into entrepreneurship, there were moments where income wasn’t predictable, and every decision carried weight. Building a business from scratch while supporting a young family required sacrifice, discipline, and constant adjustment.
There was also the challenge of awareness. Boost & Buckle is a unique, niche service most people don’t even realize that car seats and child gear require specialized, manufacturer-compliant cleaning. That meant not only building a business, but educating an entire market from the ground up.
And then there’s the personal side the long hours, the stress, and the mental load that comes with chasing something bigger while still trying to be fully present as parents and partners. There were moments of doubt, exhaustion, and uncertainty where quitting would have been the easier option.
But they didn’t.
Every obstacle became a learning experience. Every slow season became an opportunity to refine, improve, and come back stronger. Instead of letting challenges define the outcome, they used them to shape the business and themselves.
The truth is, it hasn’t been smooth but it has been worth it.
Because those struggles built the foundation for what Boost & Buckle is becoming today: a company rooted in resilience, purpose, and a commitment to doing things the right way no matter how hard the road gets.
And in many ways, those challenges weren’t setbacks they were the beginning of the comeback.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Boost & Buckle Cleaning Company is a specialized child-gear cleaning and sanitization service built for modern families who prioritize safety, quality, and peace of mind.
Founded by Kelsey Marie Dueling and Kaiden Dueling, our company focuses on one of the most overlooked but critical areas of child safety: properly maintaining and cleaning car seats, booster seats, highchairs, and everyday baby gear.
What we do is simple in concept, but highly detailed in execution.
We provide deep, manufacturer-compliant cleaning services using natural, dye-free products that are safe for children while preserving the integrity of the equipment. Car seats, in particular, are engineered safety devices not just accessories and improper cleaning can compromise their effectiveness. That’s where we come in.
What do you specialize in / what are you known for?
We specialize in premium, safety-first cleaning services for child gear particularly car seats.
We’ve built our reputation on three core principles:
Manufacturer Compliance – Every service is performed in alignment with car seat safety guidelines to ensure nothing is compromised.
Natural & Safe Products – No harsh chemicals, no shortcuts only products we would trust on our own children.
Attention to Detail – From straps to crevices, every component is handled with precision and care.
We’re not just cleaning—we’re restoring safety, extending product life, and giving parents confidence.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets Boost & Buckle apart is that we’ve created a category not just a service.
Most cleaning services treat child gear like any other item. We don’t.
We approach every piece as a critical safety system. That means we don’t cut corners, we don’t guess, and we don’t use a one-size-fits-all method. Our process is intentional, researched, and built specifically for child safety standards.
Beyond that, our brand is rooted in authenticity. This isn’t a concept we borrowed it was born from our own experience as parents. Every service we offer is something we personally needed, tested, and believed in before bringing it to other families.
What are you most proud of, brand-wise?
We’re most proud of the trust we’re building.
As a newer company, seeing families choose us—refer us, come back to us, and rely on us with something as important as their child’s safety is something we don’t take lightly.
We’re also proud of the brand we’re creating: one that feels premium, intentional, and different. From our service quality to our messaging, everything is designed to reflect a higher standard something parents can immediately recognize and feel confident in.
What do you want readers to know about your brand, offerings, and services?
We want readers to understand that Boost & Buckle is more than a cleaning service it’s a safety-focused experience built for families who want the best.
Our services are designed to make life easier for parents while ensuring their child’s gear is properly maintained, sanitized, and safe to use. Whether it’s a routine clean or a full reset, we provide options that meet families where they are—without ever compromising on quality.
Most importantly, we want people to know this:
You don’t have to guess when it comes to your child’s safety.
You don’t have to choose between “clean” and “correct.”
With Boost & Buckle, you get both.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For us, success isn’t just measured in revenue it’s measured in impact, stability, and the life we’re building as a family.
As founders of Boost and Buckle Cleaning Company, Kelsey Marie Dueling and Kaiden Dueling define success as creating something that genuinely matters something that protects children, supports families, and raises the standard in an overlooked space.
Success is knowing that when a parent trusts us with their child’s car seat or gear, they’re not just getting a cleaning service they’re getting peace of mind.
It’s also about growth not just financially, but personally and professionally. It’s about taking the challenges we’ve faced, the risks we’ve taken, and turning them into something sustainable, scalable, and meaningful for our family’s future.
On a deeper level, success means freedom:
The freedom to spend time with our kids
The freedom to build a life on our own terms
The freedom to create opportunities not just for ourselves, but for others as we grow
And ultimately, success is building something that lasts
a brand, a reputation, and a legacy that our children can be proud of.
Because at the end of the day, if we’ve created a business that protects families, strengthens our own, and continues to grow with purpose
that’s success to us.
