Meet Kayden Herron of Boujiee Kustoms

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayden Herron.

Hi Kayden, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Still, in high school, I was working 2 jobs and was trying to start a little small business for a very long time. I started with selling eyelashes, custom cases, lip gloss, body oil, etc.

As I started doing more with that small business, I decided it wasn’t something I wanted to do anymore because I wasn’t doing it right. I made chocolate-covered strawberries in the kitchen one night, posted them on Facebook and they sold as soon as I posted them. My inbox had so many messages, everybody wanted to try some.

My first customer got a great word in for me and I stayed busy the first two weeks. The feeling of actual hand-making items for customers was the feeling I was looking for all along. I have done nothing but make progress since then.

This year will be 3 years with my small business and I plan on expanding this year and bringing eyelashes, custom stationery, body oil, etc. back!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Everything has been pretty smooth for me. I will say one struggle along the road is price inflation that we are all currently going through. It makes it very hard for small businesses and their constant price increases.

Boujiee Kustoms offers a wide variety of treats and we are known for our chocolate-covered strawberries. We plan to expand this year and start selling more custom items to bring in more customers.
