Meet Jamie Bolton of TheraFit Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Bolton.

Hi Jamie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been fascinated by how the body functions. Growing up as an athlete, I experienced my share of injuries, which sparked my interest in sports medicine and rehab. That curiosity led me to Kansas State University, where I studied kinesiology and athletic training.

Along the way, I discovered Muscle Activation Techniques® and combined that with massage therapy and personal training. It felt like the missing link—helping people not only recover but also move better and prevent future injuries.

Today, I run my own private practice as both a massage therapist and Muscle Activation Techniques® Specialist. What I love most is seeing people leave my table not just feeling relieved, but also empowered to return to the activities they love. It’s been a winding road, but every step—from my days as an athlete to building a business—has shaped how I approach helping others heal and perform at their best.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road, as I struggled with not knowing what I wanted to do, making changes, being scared, and being overwhelmed by the workload, all while being a mother.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about TheraFit Wellness?
At TheraFit Wellness, I combine massage therapy with Muscle Activation Techniques® to help individuals move more effectively, recover from injuries, and alleviate pain. With a background in kinesiology and athletic training, I focus on addressing the root cause of movement issues—not just the symptoms. What sets me apart is the personalized, performance-based approach that empowers clients to feel stronger, more mobile, and confident doing the activities they love.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Discovering MAT (muscle activation techniques) from a colleague encouraged me to return to school and learn a skill that was very overwhelming for me, but determination kept me going.

Pricing:

  • Massage Therapy $55-$135
  • MAT $60-$100
