Meet Hannah Welborn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Welborn. 

Hi Hannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was a part of my high school’s video production class and started working for Kansas State University as a Video Production Assistant. I did photography for family and friends while in college but always thought I would stick with video for my career. I shot my first wedding for a friend in the summer of 2019 and things quickly changed. I realized how much I loved weddings and quit my new “big girl” job to pursue wedding photography. I still shoot wedding along with seniors and family portraits. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning your own business definitely comes with challenges. I started my business in January of 2020 and COVID quickly shut down a lot of the business that I had received. One things is certain is that it is definitely worth it! 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Wedding Photographer and I also offer family and senior sessions. I am most proud of my work with couples and helping my clients have a stress-free experience when it comes to their engagement photos and wedding photos. I believe one thing that sets me apart from others is that I try to be personal with my couples and offer them help with any part of the wedding process. 

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My Creativ Rise team! I joined a Mastermind in March of 2020 and that group has helped push me in my business. A small group of us from that Mastermind still meet today to talk about our struggles and triumphs and having that support system makes all the difference.
