Meet Fanny Mandelberger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fanny Mandelberger.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been a curious seeker since a young child. Being the first generation of Holocaust survivor parents, I innately was drawn to life-affirming paths, resilience, possibility, and healing. For the past four decades, This personally snd professionally led me to combine my interest in holistic health in clinical settings and in private practice educating on broadening the scope of rehab as an Occupational Therapist and massage therapist utilizing mindfulness, breathwork meditation along with traditional modalities to benefit the best quality of life for clients and patients of all demographics.

I had a private practice Massage On/Off Broadway specializing in contracts with the performing arts in NYC, Miami: Random Hearts, Dreamgirls etc. DC: Fun Home, Dreamgirls, Washington National Opera, Randy Graff one woman show at Kennedy Center etc. At Center for the Healing Arts, I was the owner providing eco-friendly treatments in Takoma Park MD, now Kansas City, Mo. I’m dedicated to a wellness model reinforcing that we are all equipped to handle what life presents with the variety of tools available to learn and practice.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having your own practice can have flush and lean times as far as clients’ finances, and my attitude of abundance has served me well to stay focused, steadfast and. Provide sustainability. I am very passionate about my field, and that makes all the difference.

I was taking tap dancing, kayaking, floating down the Buffalo, Current, 11 point rivers, making vegan soups, and selling them to the local community.
