I’m DJ G3wizz, and I’m Here to Give You a Night to Remember.
Hey there! I’m DJ G3wizz, an open format DJ based in Kansas City, Missouri, and I’ve been rocking crowds for over eight years. Music has been a part of me since I was a kid—it’s always been my way of expressing myself, connecting with others, and setting the mood for unforgettable moments. That love turned into a full-blown passion, and now I’m lucky enough to call it my career.
My sound is rooted in Soul, R&B, Funk, and House, but I’m all about mixing it up and taking the crowd on a ride. Whether you’re dancing to a throwback that takes you way back or vibing to something fresh and unexpected, I make it my mission to create a moment that sticks with you. I like to say I’m here to scratch that nostalgia itch and put you on to something new.
Over the years, I’ve played everywhere from The Ship, Parlor, and O’Dowds, to events at UMKC, KU, UCM, and even the MAHA Festival. I’ve spun at weddings, clubs, lounges—you name it. One of my favorite recent projects is Coffee House Jamz, a family-friendly day party I curated at Good Karma Coffee. It’s a space where parents and kids can enjoy great music together—because let’s be real, sometimes we need the fun more than they do!
I’m also a proud mom to a 1.5-year-old, so I completely understand what it’s like to juggle everything and still want to feel like yourself. That’s why, when I show up to a gig, I show up with intention: a bold outfit, high energy, and a set that lets you let loose, sing your heart out, and dance like nobody’s watching. Trust me, I know how rare those nights are—and I don’t take them for granted.
I love creating community through music, and I’m especially passionate about giving women and moms a space to reconnect with their joy, their rhythm, and their confidence. Whether it’s your first night out in months or just another stop on your weekend calendar, I’m here to make it special.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My most recent change in life has been becoming a mother. That’s a life altering event wand has taken a lot of intention to get back a piece of myself while giving most of myself toy son. It has certainly made me appreciate the opportunities I receive to play music for others.

I’m a Kansas City-based DJ who specializes in open format sets with a soulful twist—think R&B, Funk, Soul, and House. I’m known for my live mixing, high energy, and curating experiences that blend nostalgia with fresh vibes. One of my proudest accomplishments is creating Coffee House Jamz, a parent-friendly event that brings music lovers of all ages together. As a mom and a creative, I bring both heart and style to every set—balancing crowd connection, fashion, and a love for music that always delivers.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Just put yourself out there and connect to as many different people as you can in different spaces. The more you take yourself and your craft seriously the more others will. Stay true to your sound in all that you do but also don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone.
