Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Luppens.
Hi Diana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been interested in Photography my whole life. I took some classes in College.
I started getting paid for photography in 2009 and went Full Time in 2014.
I lost my son in 2012. His Army nickname was Switch. After he died, my “Focus” in life drastically changed. I started Switch Focus Studios because you never truly know the value of a photo until someone is gone and that is all you have left!
I now “Focus” on Newborns, Family and Senior Photography with some emphasis on Sports as well!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been an easy road. There are a LOT of photographers out there and many are VERY good too!
I’ve struggled to separate myself from competition by creating a connection with my clients! Customer Service has and always will be so important to me! I want my clients to love and cherish their photos.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I try to create images that truly capture the personalities of my clients! I love to customize a session based on THEIR unique lives and what they like.
I feel like my customer service and price set me apart from others. I try to keep my sessions and prices very reasonable. I want people to come to me often with important milestones in their lives!
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’ve ALWAYS been a people person! I love family and love to relive special moments again and again by looking at photos.
Photos literally FREEZE moments in time and those photos allow us to relive emotions felt at that moment or during that experience!
