Today we’d like to introduce you to Dhairya Chandra.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Chandigarh, India, and my journey with technology started early. In the 9th grade, I built my first website called CinemaGhar, where I shared movie news and blogs. That small project ignited my passion for web development and made me realize that technology was going to be a big part of my future.
My father, who works in tech, was my first teacher and mentor. He introduced me to coding and encouraged me to keep learning, while my mother always pushed me to follow my passion. In fact, the name of my company, Suvysoft, comes from them, it’s a blend of Sushila (my mother) and Vyas (my father).
I earned my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Graphic Era University in Dehradun, and in 2019, I moved to the U.S. to pursue a Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC). After graduation, I worked as a software engineer and data scientist, but I always felt drawn back to entrepreneurship and digital marketing.
That led me to formally launch Suvy LLC here in Kansas, reviving the company I had initially started in India. My wife, Kiran, who is a UI/UX designer, and my sister, Khushi, who works as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, have both played important roles in making this a true family-driven business.
From a one-person idea to a team of 80+ professionals, we’ve now built 50+ websites and helped countless businesses establish and grow their digital presence. One of our proudest moments was managing the biggest Bollywood concert in Kansas City for singer Shaan in collaboration with RK Entertainment, handling their digital marketing, website, and SEO.
Today, Suvysoft provides web development, SEO, digital marketing, social media management, app development, and custom software solutions. Our mission is simple: make every business visible online. With tools like our in-house platform, SUVY AI, we’re helping businesses understand their customers better, rank higher, and scale faster.
What started as a teenage dream in India has now become a thriving company in the U.S. and this is just the beginning.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving from India to the U.S. in 2019 was a big transition not just culturally but also professionally. I came here as a student, and like many immigrants, I had to rebuild my network from scratch while balancing education, work, and the dream of starting a business.
When I first re-launched Suvysoft in Kansas, one of the biggest challenges was establishing trust in a new market. Competing with established agencies while being new in the U.S. meant I had to work twice as hard to prove my skills and deliver results. There were times when resources were limited, and I had to wear many hats from developer to marketer to salesperson just to get things moving.
Another challenge was scaling. As our client base started growing, building a reliable team became critical. Hiring the right people, training them, and maintaining quality while expanding quickly wasn’t easy. There were also moments of self-doubt, wondering if I should just stick to a safe software engineering career instead of taking the entrepreneurial risk.
But every challenge shaped me. The struggles pushed me to innovate, learn faster, and lean on my family and mentors for support. Today, looking back, I see those obstacles as stepping stones that helped me transform Suvysoft from a small idea into a company with 80+ team members and clients across industries.
As you know, we’re big fans of Suvysoft. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My company is called Suvysoft, and we are a Kansas-based digital solutions company that helps businesses grow smarter with AI-powered websites, digital marketing, SEO, and automation tools. Our mission is simple: make every business visible online and give them the tools to compete in today’s digital-first world.
What sets us apart is our blend of technology and strategy. We don’t just design websites we build systems that generate leads, improve visibility, and run marketing on autopilot. From custom web development to SEO, social media management, mobile app development, and even custom software solutions, we cover the full digital growth journey.
We’re also building our in-house platform, SUVY AI, which helps businesses understand their customers better, rank higher on search engines, and streamline marketing efforts. It’s like giving small businesses access to enterprise-level tools, but in a simple, affordable way.
Another thing that makes Suvysoft unique is that it’s truly a family-driven business. My wife, Kiran, contributes her design expertise as a UI/UX developer, my sister Khushi works in Silicon Valley as a software engineer, and my parents’ support inspired the very name Suvysoft (a blend of Sushila and Vyas).
Today, we have a team of 80+ professionals and have delivered 50+ websites across industries. One of the highlights for us was managing the digital marketing, SEO, and ticketing for the biggest Bollywood concert in Kansas City featuring Shaan. It was a proud moment not only for our company but also for the South Asian community here.
What I want readers to know is this: Suvysoft isn’t just another agency. We’re passionate about helping local businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs create a strong online presence without the stress of managing it all themselves. Our goal is to be the growth partner that helps turn their vision into measurable results.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something most people don’t know about me is that I actually built my first website when I was just in 9th grade. It was called CinemaGhar, and I used it to share movie news and blogs. That small passion project ended up being the spark that set me on the path to becoming a tech entrepreneur years later.
Another surprising fact is that Suvysoft is truly a family business. The name itself comes from my parents’ names (Sushila + Vyas), my wife contributes as a UI/UX designer, and my sister works as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. People often assume Suvysoft is just another digital agency, but it’s actually built on family values, teamwork, and a shared passion for technology.
