Meet Christopher Standish

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Standish.

Christopher, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Christopher Joseph Standish JR., known professionally as “Standish”, & I was born January 8th, 1993 in Kansas City, Kansas. At a young age, my parents owned & operated a Nascar shop called “Motor Fan Fever”, and for years I was surrounded by everything from branding & marketing to events & showcasing. By the age of 10, my parents got divorced and my journey with the industry officially jumped off. Discovering MySpace (social media) was the key factor to all of my successes back then & now. I was self-taught in promotions, marketing, & graphic design for many Nascar drivers, musical artists & businesses online. To name a few, I’ve been blessed to work with is MTV, BravoTV, A&ETV, Three 6 Mafia, The Game, RUN DMC, Mac Miller & many other legend status icons.

By 2005, I had a whole online empire built from the moves I was making. My name sparked huge conversations not only in my city but worldwide. When I say worldwide, I mean places like Germany, Australia, India, & more. So, with all of this being washed around & I see my connections starting to come together, I then started “Standish Promotions”, which soon became 1 of the internets most notorious online marketing agencies. I then expanded from MySpace to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

After years of marketing my favorite artists, brands, etc. I had realized that I had marketed others so much within the years that I literally became an online influencer what felt like overnight. I have now to this day, released my own music, ebooks, films, & more. I always ask myself, “Is there anything I can’t do in this industry with the crazy connections I’ve built over the years?”

My love & passion for the industry gets hungrier as my days count. Whether it’s writing music, designing it, or marketing it, I consider myself the “jack of all trades” in this industry today. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. When I turned 21 years old, I began to lose my eyesight due to retinal detachment. After years of surgery complications & no returning vision, they had to remove my left eye. Losing my eye changed me forever, not in a bad way at all though, I was blessed to be given another chance with some vision.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in marketing/promotion & the music industry.

I’m known for being one of the youngest, most notorious marketing gods.

I’m set apart from others in almost every way possible. I am most proud of starting Standish Promotions in 2005 because without that, there would be no Standish.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I always go for the hardest obstacles and I don’t stop until they’re conquered.
