Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Tasca.
Hi Chelsea, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been passionate about everything fashion and social media. I’ve recently become more involved in posting content for different companies.
It all started with my Halloween costume of Guy Fieri. I posted the picture on my Instagram and tagged, KC live, Power and Light District and many others. KC Power and Light district reached out to me asking if I would like to come to be a part of the opening of Guy’s new restaurant. From there, this opened the door to other opportunities with p&l along with Shapermint and Fig clothing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Trying to always create new and fresh content that catch people’s attention is always a challenge.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a plus size content creator. I’m extremely proud of the work I put out whether it be a Instagram post, reel, story or TikTok. I love being able to show individuals that you can have amazing style at any size. I take a lot of inspiration from straight-sized creators and put a spin on outfits so they fit by body type. If I’m able to give someone confidence to rock an outfit that is out of their comfort zone and feel great, then I’ve done my job!
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
For me, living downtown is great since I’m stepping away from the streetcar. I love being able to take my dog around the city and enjoy being outdoors. The city market is one of my favorite places in the city. Highly recommend checking out Huns Garden for amazing flowers and Carrollo’s for delicious Italian treats and delicacies. I also love SoT for the best cocktails in the city! The vibes and service are immaculate.
