I started my business from the ground up with hard work, determination, and a commitment to doing things the right way. With more than 23 years of experience in cleaning and management, I built The Cleaning Crew of KC one client at a time, focusing on quality, trust, and treating people with respect. Over the past ten years, the business has grown into a stable, local employer that creates jobs and provides opportunities for people who might otherwise be overlooked. That journey shaped my belief in accountability, opportunity, and leadership through service—values I bring with me into everything I do.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been smooth or rocky—it’s been steady. Challenges come up every day, and I believe it’s not about avoiding obstacles, but how you handle them. One of my biggest challenges was social media, and once I brought on a marketing team, it made a huge difference. It freed up my time and allowed me to focus on growing the business and serving my clients and employees better.
