Today we’d like to introduce you to Cass Clark.
Hi Cass, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My love for weddings started when I was a little girl. I have a large family, so I grew up being a flower girl three times and going to family member’s weddings almost every year. I was so drawn to the joy, beauty, hope, and indescribable magic that weddings bring. There was just something so special about two families coming together in a grand celebration, everyone dancing their heart out and having the best time. I absolutely loved it. But I didn’t always want to be a wedding planner. Mostly because I didn’t know that was even a job. Since I was young, I knew I wanted to have a career in a creative field, which eventually led me to getting a degree in graphic design. In college, I was elected as Social Chair for my sorority, where I planned monthly social events for our sorority, like best friends’ day, moms or dads day, fraternity mixers, and formal events. I learned so much about planning logistics, working with vendors, creating timelines, almost every aspect that goes into events. I loved being able to create a space for others to have a joyful and fun experience with each other. I was so grateful for the opportunity to serve others and provide a special place for memories to be made. After college, I worked with a campus ministry, where we were constantly planning community events and retreats. I really started thinking about wedding planning in this season of my life and wondered how I could get there. In 2018, I started looking for work in KC and a friend recommended a position as an event coordinator for a non-profit organization. I was co-planning and coordinating fundraising banquet dinners for up to 250 people and these events took place all over the country. I’m so grateful for that opportunity to learn so much about what goes into large events and this is what truly prepared me for weddings. I felt led to take the leap and start reaching out to wedding planners that were already established in the industry and I’m so glad that was where I started. I was hired on as an assistant with Sage Wed Co, owned by Regan Aebersold. She taught me everything I know about wedding planning and eventually I started leading weddings for her business with my own assistant. I knew this work was exactly what I wanted to continue doing. I actually was not interested in starting my own business, but my amazing husband encouraged me to go for it. So by 2023, I started my own LLC and have been serving and helping engaged couples plan and coordinate their wedding day and creating space for them to rest and prepare for their marriage. It’s an absolute dream job and I’m honored to be trusted with such an important season in others’ lives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been easy necessarily. I started my business very soon after I had my first child. I was really excited and motivated to start my business but I was also extremely worried it would not do well. I was also struggling with pretty intense post partum anxiety during that time, but I found strength in my faith in God and in my community that supports me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My heart is to guide couples with peace, presence, and joy, taking care of the details so you can focus on what matters most: preparing for your marriage and celebrating your love with your family and friends. After planning my own wedding, I realized how valuable it would have been to have an encouraging guide, someone who brought wisdom, intentionality, and peace throughout the planning process. My desire is that every couple I work with would experience peace, feel genuinely cared for, and fully present, enjoying every moment of the journey to the wedding day and the day itself.
At the center of my work is a commitment to walk alongside couples with steadiness and grace. I approach planning as guidance, service, and stewardship. It’s my joy to help couples make thoughtful decisions, help shape or refine their design vision, oversee timelines and logistics, and handle every detail with care.
I am guided by faith, integrity, and hospitality. Every decision is made with prayer, honesty, and a desire to honor my couples and their families well. Creating an environment where everyone feels supported, understood, and at peace is at the heart of everything I do.
At My Beloved Weddings, planning is approached with care, intention, and calm. Rather than rushing decisions or overwhelming couples with information, support is designed to unfold gently, honoring both the season they are in and the meaning behind the celebration they are planning.
Couples choose My Beloved Weddings for thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and a peaceful planning experience rooted in love. They trust me to steward their vision with care, manage details with excellence, and help create a wedding day that reflects their values, their story, and the joy of the covenant they are celebrating.
It’s my deepest joy to serve couples in this season of life. I am honored to walk beside them, bringing peace and joy into their planning experience.
Every couple deserves to feel calm and cared for in the wedding planning process. Whether they’re just getting started or need support in the final stretch, I’m here to guide with peace, professionalism, and a genuine heart for service. Each My Beloved Weddings experience is designed with the same heart: to walk alongside couples with calm guidance, intentional care, and heartfelt respect for their story and their day. I offer four different planning experiences that are based on what timeline fits best in each couples’ season of life. If couples want calm guidance and creative support from the beginning, The Crowned Covenant experience provides an 18-month peaceful planning process without stress or rushed decisions. Couples who have already laid a foundation, but want clarity, confidence, and creative refinement as planning continues would want either The Gracefully Guided Experience or the Peaceful Journey experience which are 9 months long and 6 months long respectively. The Joyful Day Experience is designed for couples who want to fully release responsibility as their wedding day draws near, giving them 8 weeks of support leading up to the wedding day.
What does success mean to you?
In my work, success is serving couples with peace, joy, and love. If I can create spaces of peace and rest for brides and grooms during what is commonly thought of as a stressful season and a chaotic wedding day, I feel I succeeded.
