Today we’d like to introduce you to Brock Swindler.
Hi Brock, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I first became interested in chiropractic care after a football injury in high school. While recovering, I built a close relationship with my chiropractor, who not only helped me heal but also encouraged me to consider it as a career. That experience planted the first seed.
After high school, I attended Northwest Missouri State University, where I studied Health Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science and competed in track. During that time, I experienced another injury, and once again chiropractic care played a major role in my recovery. Those two experiences really solidified my belief in the profession and the impact it can have.
With that in mind, I went on to pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland University–Kansas City. I’d always known I wanted to open my own practice, so after graduation I poured my energy into making that dream a reality. I opened my practice in Excelsior Springs this past August and have been focused on growing it ever since.
I chose chiropractic because I know what it’s like to be in pain, and I don’t want others to feel like they have to live that way. I believe in a holistic approach to health and in the body’s incredible ability to heal itself. Being able to help people feel better, move better, and get back to doing what they love is what motivates me every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting a business comes with countless moving parts, and there’s a lot you simply can’t prepare for until you’re in the middle of it. I’ve faced plenty of challenges, lessons, and growing pains along the way.
That said, I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible support system. Friends, family, and colleagues have all stepped in to help, offer advice, and keep me moving in the right direction. Every hurdle has taught me something new, and while the process hasn’t been easy, it’s been incredibly rewarding.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At my practice, the core belief is simple: the more we can keep moving, the happier and healthier we’ll be. “Movement is medicine” is something I tell all my patients, because I truly believe that restoring proper movement plays a huge role in healing and long-term wellness.
We offer safe, affordable, and patient-centered chiropractic care designed to help you move better and feel your best. Every treatment plan is tailored specifically to the individual—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. I take the time to understand each patient’s goals, challenges, and lifestyle so they receive the personalized care, attention, and support they deserve.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, I incorporate a variety of soft tissue modalities to help patients heal more effectively. We offer cupping, muscle scraping, and other muscle-focused therapies to reduce tension, improve mobility, and speed up recovery.
What sets my practice apart is the holistic, movement-focused approach and the genuine relationships built with patients. I’m most proud that the brand reflects honesty, compassion, and a commitment to helping people feel better, not just through treatment, but through education and empowerment.
Whether someone is seeking pain relief, improved mobility, or better overall wellness, my goal is to guide them every step of the way and help them get back to doing what they love.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about Kansas City is the strong sense of community. There’s a closeness here. You can feel how much people genuinely care about one another, and the support for local businesses is incredible. It’s a place where people show up for each other, and that means a lot.
If I had to choose a least favorite thing, it would probably be the weather. I’m not the biggest fan of how cold it gets here, but it’s just one of those things you learn to live with. Overall, the positives of Kansas City far outweigh the chilly winters.
