Meet Ashley Castro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Castro. 

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My business started in 2018. I became a stay-at-home mama and wanted to be able to share my love of art with others. I started with one machine and full support of my family and friends! Now we are growing at a rapid pace with 4 machines and an overwhelming support from people across the United States. My heart is truly happy when I am creating and each item is handmade with love. It brings me so much joy that customers have a piece of my heart in their home. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a journey! Taking the big leap from hobbyist to a business owner takes courage and strength. When you start your own business there is so much more than just being “your own boss”. You don’t have set shifts, reviews, paychecks, or company training to help you. With that being said what you do find is yourself and what it means to be a business owner. Trial and error plays a key role, in my opinion, because you are learning and teaching your own business plan. Finding a work/life balance was my biggest struggle. What has helped is involving my family in OUR small business and setting boundaries of “working hours” as well.

Our shop consists of shirts, tumblers, wood signs, ornaments, and more! We pride ourselves into being a one-stop-shop for businesses and customers. We specialize in Chief’s attire, tumblers, and our holiday ornaments! 

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Movie night! We would find a movie, order a pizza, and have a picnic in the living room every Tuesday night!
