Meet Ashleigh Windle

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ashleigh Windle. Ashleigh was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Lakeisha Heard.

Ashleigh, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I thought this was an interview about Lakeisha! I started when the one of my high school friends father asked me to take a tax class. I didn’t know anything about taxes! But I took the class and started my first tax season working part time in 2003. Now I am the owner of the number 1 Liberty Tax Service in the KC metro area and so thankful and humbled. I also had a fireworks tent in Gardner KS this year! It was great.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I started out as a school photographer moved on to takes when the studio closed. Taxes opened many doors for me! I now own my own Liberty Tax franchisee. What I love most is my tax clients! We only get to see each other once a year but we pick right back up where we left off! We laugh we cry and just have a good time!

What can I say about the wonderful, amazing hair growing woman that is Lakeisha!!! It took me forever to book an appointment with her because of my crazy schedule. I would put it off then she would pop up on my Instagram feed and I would click her site to book and appointment! It finally worked out. When I went to my appointment the vibe was right and so was, she. We made small talk the first time and started laughing at something and never stopped. When I got covid my hair started to shed REALLY REALLY bad she suggested her vitamins and my hair is back fuller than ever! She does have the growing hands and a great caring personally. She has become a friend not just my “hair lady” I have a natural grey hair and sometimes I just want to dye it cause its on nerves but she won’t do it and I so appreciate it!
