Hi Arriel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. So I started praying to God and asking for signs on my next career steps. I kept getting signs to do nails, so I tried it. And I was good at it! I would’ve never known I would be doing nails full time, but you never know what you’re good at until you try. I feel like doing nails is one of my hidden talents.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can truly say it’s been a smooth road because of the confidence that I have while pursuing nails. I knew it would be obstacles in the way, like having slower months, but I was fully prepared for it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do nails full time, I specialize in nail art. I’ve always known how to draw, so I look at nails like a mini canvas. I’m especially proud of all the loyal clients I’ve met over the past 6 years that continue to come to me, that’s what sets me apart. I treat my clients extremely well, so they treat me well in return. I wouldn’t be here without them.
What matters most to you?
My clients, I love my clients. If I didn’t have clients, then I wouldn’t have a business. We have grown such a strong relationship with each other, and have shared so many stories with one another. I am so appreciative of them!
