Meet Amanda Carter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Carter. Please review her story with us below:

I formed Alea Rose Boutique on October 26, 2019. I created Alea Rose Boutique to encourage women to embrace their curves. The name Alea are the initials of my immediate family. My father passed away when I was only 22 years old and he did not get to see me pursue my life long goal of being an Entrepreneur however he knew of my love for style and fashion. As a child I saw my father shower my mother with love and he often gave her Roses. Thus the name Alea Rose.

On November 3, 2019, I lost my Mother to Breast Cancer, A week after I launched Alea Rose Boutique. We have several pairs of Earrings dedicated to the L in Alea Rose Boutique.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have faced many challenges after losing my mother and then not to mention a world pandemic. However, because of my Faith in God and a group of women who I affectionately refer to as the Rose Tribe, I was able to continue the online services. Many subscribers were asking for loungewear because the world was shut down. I was able to still provide quality clothing with shipping all throughout the USA.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Alea Rose Boutique, is a Boutique that represents clothes and accessories that I absolutely love. I have consulted with some of the best Stylists on what to buy and guess who those stylists are? They are the Rose Tribe !

I select cute styles that transition from Day-time to Date-night. These pretty pieces are curated for our Rose Tribe’s busy lifestyles. Change the shoes and the accessories and most pieces easily transition from work to girls night, date night, or casually chic looks.

I am most known for being a Stylist and Fashion advisor, I also provide personal shopping for VIP Customers. It’s so important to have a look that makes you feel confident.

Confidence is the key in every look rather you are a size small or a size 3XL.

I have also enlisted brand ambassadors and this has benefited my business because I am able to Promote my business by sending clothes and accessories to Social Media Influencers, one BIG influencer/actress is Tabathia Brown. Tabathia Brown, featured Alea Rose Boutique in her Small Business Highlight back in July of 2020.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I remain dedicated to helping women feel confident in their skin by providing quality clothing and accessories. One of the many ways I remain focused is by listening to podcasts. One of my favorite go-to’s is from Woman Evolve with Sarah Jakes Roberts. She also invested in a business coach that specializes in online boutiques. Also reading business books have helped keep me focused and one of my favorite books is by Grant Cordone and it is called The 10X Rule, this book.
