Hi Alex, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Super Smash KC all started when I visited a rage room out of town. I loved it! The feeling of smashing things and going to town on different items with no guilt was unlike any other. I wanted to bring it to Overland Park to share it with my hometown.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting any business has its challenges. Our grand opening was the end of January and we have since been trying to spread the word in creative ways. We were featured on Fox 4 news on their Great Day KC segment and we use social media to get the word out. We have noticed more people booking and talking about it and we are excited to see where we can take Super Smash KC.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Super Smash KC, we allow people a time in the rage room to break items such as glassware, old electronics and kitchen appliances. We specialize in providing a zero guilt, family-friendly environment to let loose and have fun smashing things! Super Smash KC is known for our colorful mural and friendly staff. We take pride in our service and feel that it truly sets us apart from other Kansas City rage rooms.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most important lessons we’ve learned along our journey is to always have fun but to put safety first. Safety is our number one priority. We take pride in our safety gear and protocols to keep people having fun and doing it without getting hurt.

Pricing:

• Starter Smash is 30 dollars a person for 15 mins
• Super Smash is 50 dollars a person for 20 minutes with larger items
• Multiplayer is 150 dollars for 6 people with 20 minutes
• Party Pack is 250 dollars and includes 6 starter smash tickets with two hours of exclusive access. This is a great option for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate events. Additional tickets are 25 dollars.
