Today we’d like to introduce you to Alaina Maxwell.
Hi Alaina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’m Alaina! I starting blogging once I given birth to my 1st son and became a mother. Being home on maturity leave gave me the outlet I needed to express myself through pictures and share my journey with the world…
Now 8 years later, married of 7 years with 3 beautiful kids… I’m happy to see where my blog has grown. I’ve expanded and furthermore share all things in displays of real Motherhood, Marriage, and MomSTYLE.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been smooth sailing along. Outside of motherhood, I work full-time in city local government and currently am going to back school for my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration on Public Accounting.
The word I like to keep close is, “balance”. Balancing all of these and giving myself “Me time” is of the utmost importance. You don’t want to lose yourself or lose sight of yourself.

I’m a Sr. Capital Assets Analyst for the City of Kansas City, Mo. and have been employed with the city 7 years.
I enjoy being a public servant for the community, numbers are my passion.

Take your time. Find your niche, and stick to who you are.
