Today we’d like to introduce you to Will C.

Hi Will, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
On a dare, I went to an open mic at the World-Famous Comedy Store in La Jolla, CA January 4, 1995; I got bit by the comedy bug and never looked back. I traveled the country and across the border into Canada as a feature/headliner comic pretty hard from 2001 – 2007 before moving to Los Angeles in 2007. After arriving in Los Angeles, I got pretty lucky vety quickly and my acting career took off. I’ve also continued as a comedian and founded my group, The Veterans Of Comedy, in 2014. We are all military veterans who are stand-up comedians. We travel the world with The USO and Armed Forces Entertainment performing for our troops.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So many car wrecks and near-death experiences. I’m very blessed to be here still. From being told, I’d never walk again to a widow maker heart attack on April 5, 2023. Life has thrown me plenty of obstacles. It’s like the Grim Reaper keeps knocking on my door, and I keep telling him the wrong house, pal.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Combat 2 Comedy is a course I wrote and traveled and taught with fellow members of The Veterans Of Comedy, Erik Knowles and Brett James. We have watched it change lives by healing thru humor and fighting fear with funny.

What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I am also out here heading for Carnival Cruise Lines. We are getting bigger and bigger, and the calendar stays booked with people wanting us to perform for them. There’s no slowing down.
