For Starters My Name is Tyler Grey Minor, My Artist/Stage Name Is “Ty Syama” My LLC is Blvckignxrant i am born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas Birthday August 27th 1991 I am 33 years old, I Started Making Rap/HipHop music at age 12 years old 6th at Deerfield elementary school walking home, started producing 13-15 years old at west jr high middle school, my sports dream didn’t workout I basically dropped out of high school 17 years old and got my diploma completion attended Kansas city, Kansas Community College for audio Engineering and then dropped out of college to sign to Armageddon records then started working for university of Kansas jayhawks tried to attend school there and nothing was seeming to work out in my life, pushed out of my house been running the streets since 15 years old got tired of living my life on the edge jump started Blvckignxrant in 2014 bought my llc 2019 facing a 3 year prison sentence was on the run for a year or 2 then overturned my verdict was supposed to try out for various semi pro basketball teams but those legal troubles happened so once again my sports dream was dead again I am a souse chef worked at various kitchens in Lawrence, Kansas lost my jobs got kind of blacklisted in my own city ostracized by friends and family was living in and out of hotels on the edge of going homeless during the pandemic covid 19 tried out for ABC worked with talent agencies that helped me build a business portfolio establish business credit mock drafts for clothing models form a umbrella came up with the name ty syama which means black and bluish boy like the kid Buddha so I thought that fitted me perfectly because I felt like a chosen person and someone has always been watching over the “kid” lost my car was walking and received a call from TLC My Strange Addiction to try out 2/22/2022 2:22 am Tuesday got baptized November 14th or somewhere around there 2021 so this most definitely opened my eyes on believing in myself more and how everything is really a possibility if you keep applying pressure they flew out to Lawrence, Kansas we filmed summer of 2022 the show aired and then I went viral as “Tuna Tyler” season 1 episode 2 listed on imbd.com never thought I would be a actor on a reality television show then my music career started to open up doors opened up for lil Reese the Chicago drill rapper at the Virgil lounge for my showcase tour in Los Angeles California finally finished and graduated from dwayne peaslee technical training school for residential Carpentry, certified working with the state of Kansas labor union to get my career going now I have various semi pro basketball teams and pro teams interested in me as well I am a contracted adult peformert it’s not serious but apart of the umbrella we established under my stage name to be a verified artist on Google knowledge panel my family is getting older a lot of my moms brothers and sisters are passing away pretty quickly so I feel like everything is happening for a reason and can’t thank the lord enough I have a kid on the way 7 weeks and 2 days from this date have features with ampichino I’ve met nipsey hustle when he was affiliated with the Compton rapper the game i know tech n9ne have helped build the Lawrence, Kansas music scene and inspire the youth generations this interview would mean a lot and this is really all I have unless you all have any further questions thank you

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It actually has not been easy my life has been difficult graduating free state high school getting my diploma they put me in in school suspension for over 2 years before I finally stopped showing up because of sports politics in this city the expansion of the university of Kansas it’s lots of court legal battles it’s been a fun wild life but this was not a battle for the weak souls or weak minded family issues housing issues trying to maintain paying bills and staying on top of things at the same time as chasing my dream

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ty Syama is my artist name blvckignxrant is my brand and I am most proud of opening doors to making this a reality from being on television as credited actor tuna tyler on tlc my strange addiction I feel like what sets me apart is my unique sound I have a good r&b voice I like futuristic soul Africo beat trap drill the kcmo sound Midwest slap music so I sound like I am from kcmo Lawrence kansas doesn’t have a distinct sound but as a whole state and kcmo we all have a bay area messy Marv jacka type sound in which I bring out in a new generation style mixed with battle rap type bars grew up to lil Wayne Cam’ron juelz santana being some of my favorite artists growing up rich the factor etc wiz khalifa throw back 90s I’m really all over the place but I feel like my music on all distribution platforms gives you a more selective breakdown on where I am headed with my sound and If I specialize in anything I could bringing a light to this world through my music and hustle and I am known for tuna tyler the actor world wide but would love for my talents to be known as well
