Today we’d like to introduce you to Tom & Beth Jacobs.

Hi Tom & Beth, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We’ve experienced many retreats over the years and not only benefited personally, but saw the transformational rewards in other attendees as well. This sparked our passion to be retreat hosts for others working to navigate through life challenges with tools to move forward.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many roads in life, it’s a mix of rough and smooth. The rough aspects are when there’s no road and you’re excavating a new path. The smooth parts are encouraging friends who circle around you to offer a variety of supportive energies.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve always loved variety, so over 40 years, I’ve shared my talents in the production of seven cd’s of original reflective music as well as popular favorites, taught meditation and yoga, officiated and sung for weddings, funerals, and spiritual services, enjoy being a spiritual mentor and masseuse, and as director/founder of our non-profit retreat house, there’s the art of fundraising as well.

I’m known for how I’ve been a helper in all these ways – and love them all.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
A free spirit, curious, in love with Superman, play-acted a lot, climbed trees, loved to swim, ride a bike, camp, throw rotten peaches at cars – (mischievous at times), but had great parents to guide me. High school years I sang in musicals and got more popular than in grade school years. As I launched into the world, I was more extroverted. Later in life, more a mix of introvert and extrovert. I love my solitude to recharge, reboot, and re-enter life.
