Today we’d like to introduce you to Roger Ortega.
Hi Roger, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In 2023, my cousin, DJ Duran was going to have a birthday party for his daughter. She wanted to have a foam party. He looked into it and thought, what a great idea for a business. He called me and asked if I was interested in a partnership. At that point I didn’t know what he meant? I asked “You, mean, like in Cancun?” He said, yes but in peoples backyards, driveways etc. I was hooked. We’ve been going strong for 3 years now.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say smooth, but I wouldn’t say bumpy. We’ve had some instances where our equipment tried to throw a wrench in the party, but we were able to fix it and maintain the vibe in real time. DJ specializes in the maintenance and management of the our equipment. Whereas, I’m the entertainment and customer service. So while he’s working on an issue, I’m entertaining the kids/parents!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a foam party company, specializing in HOA parties, birthday parties, adult parties, glow in the dark raves and we even have Red, White and Blue foam for the 4th of July! I’m most proud that we get repeat business. That people enjoy what we do enough to have us back and recommend us! I think the biggest thing that sets us apart is how involved we are with the parties. We don’t just sit back and blow foam. We’re in it leading the party!
