Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Williams.

Hi Paul, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started making my lures in 2004, Coots Lures LLC. So far I have designed 7 products with one hopefully coming out in 2024. I look at certain products to make them better or more cost-efficient. I was brought up to never criticize another man’s work unless you can make it better. Well, I have done that with my products. My list of products that I had and do have now are Coots Lures Kits 1 & 2, Rattlin Worm Harness, The Spoon de Ville, The FireFly Rattlin Wasps, and The Mag Net Go.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Money is always an issue, paying for products, shipping products, and convincing buyers why your product is better. The state of the economy is always a factor. Testing and tweaking product is always time-consuming but can be fun sometimes.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I was a professional Firefighter for 29 years in, the City of Jackson, MI, and Appleton, WI. I always love to fish and I started making lures and catching fish on them, so I started to share with my friends and they started to catch more fish. Coots Lures was born!! What sets you apart from others: My passion for fishing, I connect with people, and I am good at videos that I do with my son’s help (Aaron Williams). Coots Lures has a social media presents:
