Hi Mother, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I originally purchased my first Tarot deck, I had no idea that I would one day start my own business from scratch. Each year brings new challenges and opportunities, but always with a little bit of magic along the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a lovely slow burn. The path forward has absolutely detoured in more ways than one. The biggest struggle has been limiting my energy and allowing myself to rest. It’s easy to get excited about new events and forget to schedule in time to decompress afterwards. I have learned the hard way that if you do not pick a time for rest that your body will involuntarily pick one for you.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Tarot can translate into many different forms. Most people know it for its Spooky Season appeal or how well it pairs with wineries, breweries, and distilleries. It can also be a wonderful addition to celebrations like birthdays, bachelorette parties, weddings, and conventions.
I am most proud of the diverse settings that I have found with offering Tarot to a variety of clients. So far this has branched into corporate events, memorials, pet adoptions, fundraisers, and launch parties.
No matter the event, I am here to adapt and add to the occasion.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Our family has a long history of loving black cats. There’s hardly a memory from my childhood that doesn’t involve a black cat in the background somewhere. We’ve continued this tradition with my own little family and have a black cat named Ghost.
